Northwest Passage Dance Camp
Labor Day Weekend, September 2 to 5, 2022

Susan Kevra has had to cancel, but we are thrilled that Gene Murrow will join us for 2022!

CAMP IS FULL, but we are running a waiting list.

Scroll to the bottom for COVID considerations.

Zesty English Country Dance featuring two fabulous bands and callers, great workshop leaders, camper-led activities, and more!!!

"This is a great community, so just being around everyone dancing in such a friendly atmosphere was wonderful."

Come join us for a wonderful extended weekend of dancing, singing, music making, friendship, frolic, and fun in the woods at the beautiful Mt Hood Kiwanis Camp, about a hour east of Portland, near Rhododendron, Oregon. The weather is usually perfect this time of year, with hiking trails, waterfalls, as well as great dancing, wonderful gourmet food, and good company!

"So many knowledgeable dancers. Varied program. Callers were great...(as a beginner, I found) partners & neighbors were always there to help me."

This year focuses on English Country Dance and includes a full music track. Whether you're a new or experienced participant, you'll find our program challenges and delights you. There's also ad-hoc gatherings, opportunities to socialize, and time to just hang out and recharge in the idyllic surroundings.

Learn new skills, enjoy new friends, and make wonderful new memories.

"The best part was the warmth of community, high level dancing, and the opportunity to experience excellent callers & hear fabulous music."

Dancing Community:

We wanted to update you on 2022 Camp and share Covid considerations.

We understand that some of you will not be ready to come to camp this year. Others may feel our policy is overly cautious. We're doing our best to find a middle ground that feels comfortable for as many dancers are possible.

At this time, here are the Covid-related actions we're taking as per PCDC policies: We realize there's a lot of uncertainty. We hope that you will bear with us as we try and navigate the balance between safety and fun all without knowing what the next few months will bring.

Naturally, any number of Covid-related things could change in the coming months leading up to camp but this is the best information we have at this moment and we will keep you informed along the way.  Keep checking the website for the latest news.
